Join us to tackle summer meals challenges and build a stronger 2026 program together!
Summer Meals 2026 Planning Summit
Healthy Lincoln County, with facilitation support from Lincoln County Regional Planning Commission, is hosting a fall summit to bring together key partners and decision-makers to shape the future of summer meals in Lincoln County. Our goal is to ensure every child has access to nourishing food in Summer 2026-- and your voice is essential to making that vision a reality.
Healthy Lincoln County has sponsored the Summer Meals Program in Lincoln County for nearly a decade, ensuring kids have access to nutritious food throughout the summer. This year, we're partnering with the Lincoln County Regional Planning Commission to host a collaborative summit with major stakeholders.
Together, we'll:
Review recent changes to federal program rules and their impact on site participation and eligibility.
Share strategies for navigating qualifications and identifying potential workarounds.
Discuss what we want the Summer Meals Program to look like in 2026, and how we can make it happen.
As federal funding continues to shrink, community need is growing. With enough support, we believe it’s possible to feed every child in Lincoln County. This summit is our chance to plan ahead, align efforts, and build a stronger, more inclusive program together.
For virtual participants: We will send a Zoom access link via email the morning of the meeting.
